Euro 2016

This year, the biggest sporting event in Europe will take place in France. We are talking about the Euro 2016 of course ! With five scheduled meetings in Bordeaux, visitors will enjoy the new stadium Matmut Atlantic and the equally new Cité du Vin, whose inauguration is scheduled for early June. Spectators who can’t be present at the stadium can still enjoy the fan zone, at the heart of Bordeaux, place des Quinconces. 60 000 spectators will enjoy the matches on a big screen at the same time than the Matmut Stadium. The first match played in Bordeaux will pit Slovakia against Wales. An important meeting for them as it is their first participation in an international competition since … 1958! We bet that the show will be at stake. The Euro 2016 will begin on June 10, in a time particularly festive for the agglomeration: river festival, music festival, wine events … Bordeaux promises you a lively summer!
